He loves me, He loves me not

The highest one loves me unconditionally, the earthly one loves me only when its convienent for him.

The highest one loves me through hell and high-water, the earthly one only loves me when he gets what he wants.

The highest one loves me through the tears, the earthly one only makes me cry.

The highest one gives me peace, the earthly one causes me grief. 

The highest one always comes though when I need him, the earthly one has never been reliable.

 I rather love God for the rest of my life than to spend time loving someone who can never compare or satisfy me the way the highest one can.
